Legal Experience

Sam graduated from Mississippi College School of Law in 2018 cum laude. He began an internship with Purdie & Metz, PLLC in November of 2017, and became an associate with the firm upon passing the Bar in March 2019. His practice focuses on Healthcare Law, as one of two attorneys representing the Mississippi Division of Medicaid in disputes with medical providers over reimbursement for care in hospitals and long-term care facilities. Sam writes appellate briefs for the Mississippi Supreme Court and represents DOM in provider reimbursement hearings.
